There is starting to be movement with the rebuild process now that CERA have started categorizing land into red and green zones, with orange and white zones still awaiting final clarification as to their concluded category.
There is definite influx of people wanting to move out of Christchurch to smaller towns such as Rangiora, Rolleston, Prebbleton, Lincoln, Darfield, Kirwee, West Melton and the like, and there is also a significant rise in lifestyle block activity since the CERA pronouncement on land stability zones.
