What is a Greenfields Subdivision?
These types of subdivisions involve subdividing a large un-serviced property that has never been used for housing or development, often an area recently re-zoned or the subject of a Plan Change, and often requiring services being brought in from further afield. These developments require the skills of planners, engineers, surveyors, Geotech and Contamination consultants, and often the services of urban designers and landscape architects to get the result required for completion of the properties for market.
Why engage Survus?
We have been doing these types of developments for many years and are currently working on a variety of these developments in Christchurch City, and the Selwyn and Waimakariri Districts. We have in-house ability to do all the planning, surveying and engineering work required, and have close working relationships with other sub-consultants as required to undertake the other tasks needed to get the projects to completion. Our clients use us because we have good working relationships with all councils, highly skilled and respected in-house staff, and are able to deliver these projects on time and within budget, all very important to a developer.
