Topographical surveys are the big brother of site levels surveys, detailing the features on the site such as buildings, trees or lakes (in which case you may want to consider a houseboat). These plans show more detail and are particularly important if your designer is working around trees and site features that are to remain.
These are often undertaken with a Robotic Total Station due to the fact there is often tree cover that won’t allow our GNSS to pick up satellites. Also very important for hill sites, where we can also give you contours to work out your cuts and fills. We are good at these. Very good.
